The commissioning of Australian emerging and established fine artists to paint the vista that is Prince Henry at Little Bay is an unprecedented marketing first by Landcom. It’s a move which has been universally embraced by the fine art community and heralds a new era of cooperation between the creative arts. This beautifully constructed campaign is a visual feast which introduces one of Sydney’s best views to the public at large, whilst it showcases some of our finest talent. Media support for our artists is often neglected for the daily grind of everyday life, or the sleekness of photoshopped advertising.
Art Equity is proud to showcase the deep, ocean blues of Jeffrey Makin, an elder statesman of Australian art, the grand sweeping seascape of Laura Matthews, a Graduate of the prestigious London Slade School and the intricate curve of Little Bay by emerging new talent, Andrew McIlroy. We are equally thrilled to be introduced to the stunning surrealism of Peter Davrington, the subtle minimalism of Xian Yu Bai and the playful vibrancy of Sean Rodwell, represented by Melbourne’s Art Rooms in Port Melbourne. Thank you Landcom for supporting our Australian artists and showing them off to the world!
