Chang is a five-time Archibald Prize finalist, two-time finalist in the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize and his work has been included in both major institutional and corporate collections internationally and in Australia.
Art Equity is pleased to present Mao, 2011, published by Barbarian Press in association with China Link and Art Equity and printed at the acclaimed Griffith Studio in Sydney. The print edition is fittingly breaking new grounds in print making. Mao is an edition of 50 with 20 of the edition being released to the Asian and European markets.

Adam Chang lived through Mao's Cultural Revolution in China and acutely understands the influence the man had, not only on China, but the world. The reference to Mao in contemporary art is by no stretch a new phenomenon, with the most famous depictions being by Andy Warhol.
This edition is based on the painting by the same title which was exhibited in a non-selling exhibition entitled Mao, Terracotta Army & Myself, opened at China Link Gallery by Edmund Capon AM, OBE in January this year.
